a)
All
decisions including removal of a member and amendment in the
memorandum of the society will require a vote of 2/3rd
majority of members present in the meeting.
b)
The
General Body shall elect various members of the Executive Committee.
Article VI
EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE
a)
The
Executive Committee shall consist of the following posts:
a.
One
President
b.
One
General Secretary
c.
One
Press & Publication Secretary
d.
One
Finance Secretary
e.
Six
Regional Coordinators, one from each province (Punjab,
Sind,
NWFP, Balochistan) one from Azad Kashmir and one representing the
Armed Forces.
b)
The
various office bearers of the Executive Committee will hold the
office for a period of 2 years.
c)
Election of the Executive Committee shall be held on alternate years
at the Annual General Body Meeting.
d)
The
year of election shall also alternate with the Elections of the
Pakistan Society of Neurosurgeons, so that the Executive Committee
elected for one term shall get to work in collaboration with two
different Executive Councils of the Pakistan Society of
Neurosurgeons.
Article VII
ELECTION OF THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE
a)
The nominations for the
various office bearers of the Executive Committee will be proposed
by one and seconded by another member.
b)
A candidate can offer
himself or herself for nomination by submitting a written
application to the General Secretary before the Election.
c)
Each office bearer shall
be elected by a simple majority of the General Body.
d)
Elections of the
Executive Committee shall be held after 2 years on the occasion of
the annual General Body Meeting
Article VIII
FUNCTIONS & POWERS OF THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE
a)
The
Executive Committee shall be responsible for managing the affairs of
the Forum, organization of the annual meetings, general meetings,
special general body meetings, scientific meetings, workshops and
short courses.
