Quorum
a)
At
any meeting of the Executive Council three office bearers shall
constitute a quorum.
b)
At
any general meeting or special general body meeting of the Society
10% of total members shall constitute a quorum.
Article IX FUNCTIONS OF THE VARIOUS OFFICE BEARERS OF THE
EXECUTIVE COUNCIL
President
The President shall
be the chief executive of the Society and all
preside over all
the meetings of the Executive and the General Body.
He may delegate any
of his functions to the Senior Vice President. The
President shall
have the powers to frame rules necessary for the performance
of the
functions under this memorandum of association.
Senior Vice President
It
shall be the duty of Senior Vice President to act in aid of the
performance
of functions by the president and to perform the duties
assigned to him by the President.
Vice President
The Vice President
will look after the duties of the President in his absence
and will preside over any meeting in case the President is not
available.
General Secretary
(a)
Shall
be responsible for executing the decisions of the
Executive Council.
(b)
Keeping proper records of the proceeding of the meetings held.
(c) Executing and enforcing resolutions passed in the meetings
in
conformity with the provisions of the articles of the society
and representing the society in all relevant matters.
(d) Keeping custody and control of the records of the Society.
(e)
Supervising the administration of the paid staff of the society if
any. He shall also have the powers to appoint, suspend, terminate or reinstate the paid staff of the Society. However such actions will require the approval of the Executive Council in the subsequent
meeting.
He shall keep a close contact with other national international and
regional organizations on behalf of the Society and will keep all
members of the Society informed about their activities
